More Fall Decorating

I am doing my fall decorating a little bit at a time when I have a minute that I'm not chasing my 13 month old around. I feel like mine pales in comparison to what I've seen on other people's blogs. Mine is just kind of thrown together. I'm sure this fall decorating spree will be going on for the next 2 or 3 weeks. I hope y'all don't get tired of it!

I added a bow to my pumpkin topiary - I think it looks better!

I'm in LOVE with the pumpkin topiary! And you were right...the bow is a beautiful addition! So happy you came by the other day to see how similar our tastes are. : ) Have a good day.

I love your blog and check it daily, I was wondering if I could get some closer up pic's of your cork boards. They look so cute and I drastically need to come up with something cute for my own stuff. Thanks for sharing it's fun to look at everyday.

Hi!
Your fall touches are beautiful. I like all of them! Your chair on your porch is inspiring me to do something very similiar. I found mine in a trash can though and is in need of some painting. :o)
Did you happen to cover the lamp shades with the larger red/white check? Is there a seam around the top and bottom? I bought 3 yards of fabric that is almost identical and want to get started, but not sure if I will need trim or not.
Oh gosh, I just love your house! I finally finished my valance and it is up! The gingham did not show up so well in the picture. Oh well.
Sorry so long! :o)

You are doing a fine job. And I love what you have done. The only fall decorating that I have done are my blogs. It is still summertime here in the south. A little hard to get in the mood...

But I am enjoying looking at the fall deco on all the blogs. :-)

Me again! Thank you for the kind comments and for the instructions on the lamp shades. Speaking of cheap...I bought over 3 yards of red/white check fabric at a local consignment store ... guess how much? $1.99! That will become my lamp shade covers! :o)
Love the idea of a bird house. I actually have a rustic one in my bathroom. It is pretty big and was built by a local man, who I wish I knew...I would buy a few more!

I am in Love with all your lamps. I LOVE lamps. At night I turn off all the lights and turn on my lamps, I love the effect. Of course DH folows right behind me turning most of them off. It has become a game. Anyhoodle, your decor for fall is great!

Nothing you have ever done looks like it is thrown together! You do a fabulous job and each time I visit I see something that inspires me.

I am not kidding, I have that exact same holder that is in the first picture. I have roses in it, and I packed it up because I just put out all the fall stuff and thought it didn't go. Never thought of changing it out for harvest looking items. Crazy! You are a genius!

I love all your little lamps... I have always been drawn in by the soft light little lamps give off... but alas I don't have any of my own! What a shame :)

Your house is looking great. I might try to make a pumpkin topiary. It's very cute. When you make your lampshades, do you use spray on adhesive? I've used the shades that have sticky stuff on them and you just cut out your fabric and stick it on. Maybe you could show us how. Mimi
