Black & White Bathroom, My Backdoor Curtains

I love the bathroom in this picture I tore out of a Southern Living magazine (April 2008). The black and white toile wallpaper and check fabric look so beautiful together! My favorite thing has to be the server turned into a vanity/cabinet. I would love to do that in my guest bathroom, but I doubt my husband would agree to tearing out the existing cabinet and replacing it with an antique piece. Have any of you out there done this? I am curious to know if you have regretted it. I don't know why I'm talking like I might do it 'cause I know my husband will say NO!

Annie at Our Happy Home (ourhappyhomeof3.blogspot.com) asked to see my backdoor curtains so here they are Miss Annie!

The black and white is very pretty! I can see why you are admiring it. My mother in law created a sink with an antique dresser and loves it! It sure is pretty. Maybe you can add a little piece of furniture to your bathroom (painted black of course) and go from there? That way you still have the look with out going over the top and doing a bathroom remodel. :o) I love your back curtains! Just three more days until payday and fabric, here I come!! :o) I had a quick question, do your back doors have windows through out or is it the upper part? We are replacing our back french doors with the type that are window on the upper section. This room cooks, it is full east.
Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne
Ps. I put a fall ribbon on one of my bunnies and have that in our school room now! :o)

I haven't done it yet, but I have an old dresser that we intend to turn into our bathroom vanity. It's just not very high on the to do list at this point.

Hey thanks for posting your window treatments! I loved that B&W bath too. I would love to use an antique piece for a vanity too, but hubs would so be against it.

Thanks again for posting the pics, they are really cute treatments!

I love the black and white combo. I really want a black white and red room in my new house. I tend to wear those colors together alot, so I think they would look great in a design for a room!

And your curtains are lovely! The fabric is really pretty.

I used an antique dresser in my bath for the sink to go in. I love it and have not regretted it at all. I did not paint it though. You can see it on an older post of mine.
