Friday Favorites

I just love birdhouses! I like them inside and outside. There are so many cute ones out there to buy. My favorite ones look old and have architectural pieces on them like doorknobs and molding. I have been wanting to try to fix up one myself. Michaels has unfinished ones and I want to get one and embellish it with some old handles, silverware, and knobs I have. I'll have to put that on my L-O-N-G list of projects I want to do. I hope you have a great project filled weekend! Or, I guess you can have a relaxing one if you want!

Angie, What a collection you have. I have also seen some where you can mosaic them with old broken plates. Toile perhaps? Deana

First of all, I need to come by here more often! I love your quick projects. So fun with the "T"! I agree, I would love to make a little birdhouse for outside my back door. It would be fun to have a cute one so I could have some birdie neighbors. But with my list of projects, it's not going to happen anytime soon! :)

You have quite a collection! I love all of them! I have one outdoors that I bought at a neat garden shop that's made from all sorts of bits and pieces of things. I saw the unfinished ones at Michaels with the glass knobs. They were on clearance at my Michaels!

What cute birdhouses! I love them all. I put them in my house too all over. We were by a Hobby Lobby today, and I grabbed a birdhouse to fix up too! How funny! Have a great night!

Hi Angie!
Love your birdhouses! My husband dismantled a church pew for me yesterday and I will be using the wood to build a bird house! Plus some signs. :o) The pew could not be saved as far as keeping it as a pew...that is ok, I will put it to good use!
Love your lampshade recover!
Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne

Aha, you are just the person that I need then. If you wouldn't mind taking a moment and checking out my blog you will see a photo of my collection of birdhouses (small but cute) which I desperately need some ideas for. Thank you!
