Kitchen Cabinet Brackets

We recently added these shelf brackets underneath some of the cabinets in the kitchen. I have seen this idea in books and magazines and also on some blogs. I LOVE how it turned out!!! The brackets are about $10 each from Lowe's and they come unfinished. I painted them and my hubby installed them. I think it gives the cabinets some needed detail and looks cottagey with the beadboard backsplash. Have a great day everybody!

Angie, the brackets look fantastic in your kitchen! And I agree~ they do add cottage charm along with the beadboard! :)

I always enjoy seeing pictures of your kitchen~ it is SO gorgeous! I love the style of cabinets you have, painted white. We are redoing our kitchen right now, and were deliberating over beadboard with a backsplash over the counter versus just beadboard over the cabinets...I was looking at kitchens with both styles. We decided to install a counter with a backsplash and put the beadboard over that. Now that I'm looking at your kitchen, I'm glad we're doing it that way! Pictures of your kitchen inspire me as we work on ours! :) I hope you are having a great week!

Gorgeous Angie! I have thought about doing the same, but will wait till I redo the backsplash. By the way, how do you like the beadboard backsplash? I'm considering it, but worry it may get dirty easy. (Mine would be black though.)

I love the Brackets idea. You have inspired me for a future project. Now I'll have to start watching for them on sale or turned in (possible at a Habitat for Humanity ReStore!) And I love your BUNNY!! He is so cute. I have a tall resin bunny in the kitchen holding a basket (which holds tea packets or instant Crystal "single serve" packets.
I found a bunny yesterday I wish I could show you. He is as cute as yours!! :-) Love bunnies too.
Thanks for sharing such a great decorating idea.
