I am happily married with a wonderful husband, a precious four year old son, and two sweet dogs. I love to decorate my house and am always looking for inexpensive projects to tackle. My smart and handy husband always seems to get involved whether he wants to or not. I love to shop and go to yard sales with my mom to find really good deals. I am so blessed to be able to stay at home (my most favorite place to be) and take care of my family.
I am so happy with the way my radio cabinet turned out! I wasn't sure about painting it, but now I am glad I did.It feels good to get a project finished. Now on to another one!
It's perfect! And it looks so cute in that spot...I'll be keeping my eyes open for an old radio case for myself! :) Great job, thanks for the inspiration!
From one Angie to another...you INSPIRE me girl...I've been 'visiting' you all week, going from the beginning of your blog and just looking and reading..on and on I've gone. I have gotten so many WONDERFUL ideas and inspiration from you. Just wanted to let you know I LOVE you blog...thanks so much for sharing your life and home with us...
Hi, Angie! I have "lurked" around your blog for the longest time, but that radio cabinet came out sooooooooo cute that I have to let you know! The paint color is great against your wall, and the toile is the perfect choice! You did a really great job with this one!!!!!!
It's wonderful! I have just looked at your entire blog. You had me popping up and down with ideas and redecorating! I used some things I was wondering how on earth I would use. Now I love them. Thank you for so much inspiration. I love your home.
I am starting a NEW Mr. Linky party. It will begin on Aug 10th so everyone will have a week and a half to think about their first post. I have a poll up for votes on which button should be the new button. The "party" is called The Knock Off Knock Out-where THRIFTY meets creative sensation. Go over and learn more about the new weekly event and I would appreciate if you would cast your vote and HELP pick the new button design and its the last week for the July GIVE-A-Way, if you would like to be a part of that event.. Angie, this turned out so good. But it is just perfect in that little corner you have. It looks like it was just made for your house. I love it. How fun! Have a blessed day! Debbie
Hi Angie, I love the look of your radio cabinet. I remember when I use to sit in front of one like that. Boy I am old. I love the colors in your home, I have the same colors in my little cottage. I know what you mean about finishing a project, I have many all most finished. I just started a new blog, please come and visit when you have time............Sharon K
Hi! I love your blog! I could look at it all day...okay...I have been looking through your blog all day! But FINALLY I find someone with taste like mine and I can start decorating my new house. I've been depressed thinking I lost my touch some where between shabby chic, French country, and elegance and you have put all three together and you did it in my favorite color RED!!!! So if you don't mind I'm going to borrow some of your ideas...I love French country...but not the blue and white...I wanted to do red...so thank you for all the cute ideas and fun projects... now I'll have plenty to do while my husband is in Afganistan!
I found one of these for $30 and passed it up. IT is beautiful, should I go back for it?? Pretty neat.. IT is a nice wood with some nice scroll and flur de lis?? Your tempting me.
Oh, it's so amazing! I love how it turned out~ you worked magic on it! It just *pops* against your yellow walls, too, and looks like it was made for the spot it's in! :)
