I bought this chicken wire basket for 50 cents at a yard sale this weekend. I spray painted it black and it is now on my kitchen table holding seashells and reminding me of fun trips to the beach. Happy Monday to you!

You have the best yards sales in your area! I have not been able to find anything this year. Well, except the ones where everything was marked $50...at a yard sale!!
Great find! Love how it turned out!
Perfect, I just can't get enough wire baskets! The shells look lovely, I may have to pull out my collection!
Best wishes,
Tammy
That is so cute! I love how you placed it on top of a clock :). Beautiful.
Great job and wonderful way to display those shells :)
Happy Monday!

Stop by and enter a giveaway I am having!
Hope you have a wonderful week! Nnacy
Wow! That's a fantastic wire basket! You have some great yard sales in your area! I went to one on Saturday in my neighborhood and her sign said "upscale resale" and believe me the prices reflected that attitude!
Love the shells in it!

So cute and beachy!
I love the simple makeover! :) Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)
It looks fantastic painted black! I love how you put shells inside of it, too! :)
I LOVE your blog! You do the neatest things to decorate your beautiful home. We are moving in a few months, so I am holding off on putting any more holes in my current walls... but I CAN NOT wait to start in on our new home! You are quite inspirational! I'll be checking back frequently to see what you do next!
You are just too too clever. You really create some beauties with a can of spray paint.
Hugs,
Chris
I would have bought that basket too. I just love chicken wire! :)
Love that basket! I'm on the look out for one to hold my potatoes and onions and such...good find!
That's a beautiful bunch of sea shells.
