Animal Print Wall Pocket

I decided to dress up this silver wall pocket hanging in my kitchen with some fabric. I decided on an animal print because I wanted something a little different. Do you ever feel like your home decor is too predictable and coordinated and everything is looking the same? That is how I've been feeling lately. Anyway, I just hot glued on the fabric and some ribbon and I have a new piece. I am looking forward to a great weekend and hopefully the sun will come out since it hasn't all week! Have a good one!

Love it! I never would have thought of that - thanks for sharing your great ideas :) Yeah, sometimes it's fun to throw in something a little unexpected and different - keeps it interesting!

The funny thing is that even thought this is animal print, it still works! I think whenever you put up things you love, it becomes a natural part of everything else in your home!
Also, what is the name of the apple green wall color in your spare bedroom (the one with the goodwill bed). I've been wanting to paint my laundry room that color, but am afraid I'll end up with something too neon!

I love it! How creative. I love having some large cat print sprinkled here and there around the house. Adds some zip!
Love the shutter you have it hanging on too!

That idea was great! I get tin cans all the time and some are still in a box I got from work. I have been scratching my head for awhile now trying to come up with something new. Thanks!

That is very cute! I think the element of surprise keeps things interesting when decorating!

Also, on the post before that I noticed you have an open cabinet area for your dishes. You have my wheels turning in my head now that I may be able to do something like that in my kitchen. Do you have a post about that in your blog?
