- I am happily married with a wonderful husband, a precious four year old son, and two sweet dogs. I love to decorate my house and am always looking for inexpensive projects to tackle. My smart and handy husband always seems to get involved whether he wants to or not. I love to shop and go to yard sales with my mom to find really good deals. It is my favorite combo...If I only had to live with two colors...That would be my choice...It is simple yet "screams" for attention...Black brings presence like no other color...Great pics! Happy weekend...I hope I get a chance to go up to the attic and get started on my holiday decorating!!!

Good morning! Hey I love all the black and white, it looks amazing how you have grouped it together. I had a thought about your mantel...what if you put shutters to each side of the window? I love that window, and I love the lamps and topiaries too! But shutters on each side could go behind the topiaries, unless theres not enough room, you could hang the shutters instead of setting them up there. Anyhow it is just a thought. I do enjoy watching the combinations you come up with. Maybe you should post 4-5 different combinations! We would all love that! hahaha...it might be alot of work...

I like Debbie's idea about the shutters. That would make your lamps really pop and just be the "icing" on the cake. I love your fireplace brick painted red. Actually, I love your entire house that I have seen.

Yep, black and white is a great combo -- especially in your hands. From what I've seen, any color is great when you use it! Love the look of your house. It is so inviting and homey. Makes me want to just jump in the pictures.
