New Window Valance in Bathroom

I made this valance last night for our bathroom. And by made I am talking using the hot glue gun, not the sewing machine. I've had a thing lately for animal print so you'll be seeing it on some future projects I'm sure. I like the funkiness (is that a word?) it gives to things. I know lots of folks will say that red and white check fabric and animal print ribbon just don't match. And...not they don't, but I think it looks cool. Hope y'all have a wonderful Wednesday! Looking forward to going to a fall festival at church tonight with my husband and son!

I recently did a post on my bathroom valance and it's missing "something." Our windows are actually very similar in size and proximity to the shower. Love your "something" and wish I could figure out what my something needs to be.

You'd love my friend Jackie's house. She has a love for animal print but ALWAYS pairs it with red, yellow, black, toile - anything French Country. You all would get along real well! You did a great job - and no one would ever know you didn't sew it! Have fun at church and creating more wonderful things!

Hey you painter you! Wow, first I have to commment on the pear below that you painted...you go girl! Great job. I also like your valance...and can't we all agree that the glue gun must have been created by a woman...thank you very much! You did an awesome job Angie, I love it. I love all the red you use, it looks great!

Debbie

I would love to hear how you use hot glue to "sew" things. I can't sew worth a hoot but just maybe I could hot glue. You make the cutest things!

Hi! I've only recently discovered your blog, but I like it so much already that I've given you an award. Please come to my 11/02 post to see and let yourself be tagged!

I like it! It's not too much so it competes with the fabric - just enough to make you smile. My favorite scarf is a long cotton scarf in an animal print. I wear it with LOTS.
