Dining Room Table Arrangement and a Pumpkin Topiary

Here is the fall arrangement I have on my dining room table. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Just put some things on a tray and stuck flowers and leaves all around it. I was going to put a runner underneath, but decided not to.

I think I talked about my pumpkin topiary last year, but somebody asked about it so I'll explain how I made it again. I just took one of those craft pumpkins, cut a hole in the bottom with a knife, and stuck a dowel rod in it. I had already cut the dowel rod to the length I wanted and painted it brown. Then I put some floral bricks in a pot and stuck the topiary in. I covered the bricks with leaves and also added a bow and scarecrow.

Hope y'all had a good Monday! Have a great night!

Angie, Where do you come up with this stuff? I just love everything you do. I copied your framed pear the other day. I have a pair of framed pears now and they are adorable. I think a pumpkin topiary may be next!

I love your table top arrangement! The leaves and flowers are a nice touch to it, too! :)

Thank you for explaining how you did your pumpkin topiary, I am DEFINITELY "copying" you on this one, and will link it back to you of course! I have the perfect container for it, too! :) Oh, and I have my frame all ready for my pear picture (copying your idea here too) but I'm scared to cut the pear! Arg! :)

I hope you had a good day! :)

Very nice centerpiece. So it was something you just threw together huh? If I did that it would look like I literaly threw stuff on the table. You make it look so easy.

Well I sure hope you don't mind being copied!! I have the exact same black & white bow on my Anchor Hocking glass pumpkin & I have a very similar iron work candle holder. I am now going to find a tray & one other object to combine them with & try to make my own replica of your centerpiece!

I also wanted to say I think your pumpkin topiary is just darling! Very creative & different! :D

Thanks for sharing all the new ideas!!
