I showed y'all this lamp already that I got for $1 at a yard sale a few weeks ago. I painted it black, added a shade I had, and it now sits on top of my pie safe in my dining room. I had a smaller lamp up there and this one looks much better. I love turning this on at night so I can see in my dining room from my kitchen. Have a great Monday everybody!

It looks brand new! I love seeing all of the great ideas people so kindly share in their blogs. Thank you!
Beautiful!! Can you tell me exactly what kind of spray paint and color (black?) you used? Hubby just painted a hideous lamp black in an effort to make it look better. Now it's just a hideous black lamp! How did he mess that up?? :)

I love this, I seem to have such a hard time visualizing lamps made over. Everything else I can see the possibilities but I have a blind spot with lamps, and I need some new ones too! Maybe I can just get inspiration from your redo, it looks great!

That is to cute. I love it all. I have the same lamp but Mine is white and has a floral shade. From Homegoods...Love it. I just bought my bird lamp the nester has at the JCPenny outlet for $20 it was returned from the online store. Works fine I saved about $40. I will blog about it soon.
I can't even believe that's the same lamp!
