Sat. Yard Sale Finds

I found some pretty good stuff at yard sales on Saturday. I spent a total of $12.65 on all the finds you see below. You'll be seeing these things popping up around my house in future posts I'm sure. My favorites are the old books (25 cents each), 4 little white urns (10 cents each), Southern Living plate (50 cents), and the big picture ($2). I have already taken the print out because I really just bought it for the large chunky frame which I will paint. The vanity chair in the last pic ($1) will be used outside. I'll show it to you later this week. Happy Monday to you!

Wow! Great job. We actually had our neighborhood garage sale this past weekend. It was cold and rainy so I never went out.

WOW!!! I'm drooling all over the keyboard!!! LOOOOOVE that big ol' frame.

I just got a bunch of white urns at Goodwill... I think I bought every single one they had, but they'll go to good use.

I cannot WAIT to see what you do with these beauties. The best thing that could've ever happened to them was to end up in your home. :)

Oh wow, I love the print...even though you just bought it for the frame. I love it! Can't wait to see what you do with the chair. I have one I'm planning on selling in a yard sale. Will be anxious to see if maybe it can have a whole new lease on life.

I love seeing what everyone has found in their treasure hunting. And it is a bonus when we are told what the plans are for such items. Thanks for sharing yours.

I have that exact same chair! It went with my vanity when I was a little girl and now my daughter uses it in her room at her desk. It started out with baby blue cushions and then when I was older my mom had it recovered with brown. I love my chair! And, one of my very best friends owns one just like it as well. She has had hers forever too!

Can't wait to see what you do with yours. It might inspire me to try something different.
