Hubby is out of town, son is with the grandparents, dogs are outside, and I am alone cleaning, rearranging, and just "playing house" ... what a wonderful Saturday!!!

One of my favorite ways to spend time. Grab my Diet Coke, put the music on that I like, burn a candle, and just clean to my hearts content. Have fun!!

Hello Angie! Just stopping by to get my eye candy fix from all your goodies! What a wonderful Saturday for you...there are very few of those for me and it's funny I usually spend it in total quiet, just fussing about too. Going to comment on a few of your other posts all at once - I love the green spray paint you got ahold of. Such a fresh color! And yes, I have been gravitating more and more toward the "faux" stuff myself. I figure you can spend a nice amount of money on some good quality faux that never needs care & will last forever or you can spend a good amount of money on something that dies in a few weeks! I still have some real, low maintenance greenery mixed in too but I don't have a green thumb. But I will never turn down a bouquet of fresh flowers either! I guess - everything in moderation is okay. Well, enjoy your day! ~ Laurie

Wow this sounds like a perfect day to me as well. Love your decorating, love your blog, love your ideas. I got so excited when I saw what you had done with your window on that other post, because I have an old window I want to paint and put some polka dot fabric behind...in laundry room I think. Anyhow I was thinking the same thing. I like the metal thing above the window too. You did a great job putting that together!
Blessings,
Debbie

I hope you had a great day alone! I remember when my children were young and DH would take them camping for the weekend. I was in heaven! Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but to have some alone time...it was so nice!

Hi Angie - this is my first time here and oh my, you have some wonderful stuff. And yes, I love your black and white and green ribbon stack - some of my favorite colors. Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back for sure. I'll be doing a lil' cleaning up too today after church. Have a blessed Sunday! Cathy

Sounds relaxing! I'm afraid that if I were ever in the same situation, I wouldn't know what to do with myself and I'd end up reading blogs all day! :)
