Friday Favorites
I am back doing my Friday Favorites again after not doing them for several weeks. I know you have been missing them something fierce! JK One of my most favorite yard sale buys is this kitchen table I got for $5. YES...5 DOLLARS!!! I had been looking for a craft table and this was just perfect. I stapled black and white polka dot fabric around it to hide magazines, books, and other junk underneath. I love it and it is so great to have my own space to create. I want my husband to make a shelf or two to attach to the top of the table to sit supplies on. I also have some ideas of what I want to hang above it. I will probably take the 3 pictures and iron piece down and hang them somewhere else. Of course, my dream would be to have a large craft room with tons of cabinets, shelves, and surfaces to work on. But, that ain't gonna happen so I'm going to make this little space work for me. Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!

I like it just the way it is. The iron piece and the pictures look great! I would never have thought to take a kitchen table and wrap a skirt around it. Perfect!

Very pretty and so neat! That's the exact same craft table I have! I'm going to make a skirt for it too but I like how you made and opening for the chair. I may do it that way too - not sure yet. I thought I'd go all the way around and put a small curtain rod so I can move the fabric. Something to think about!

I love what you did with that desk! So cute. I have a small kitchen table in my craft room too. This is such a great idea! We have the same screen saver on our computer. How funny is that! Have a great weekend!
The fabric around the sides was brilliant--makes it look like a great desk, but with more room!

Cute table! You dressed it up so pretty! And the price ... wow! If you get a chance, please drop by my blog, I found bunny toile fabric at WalMart and thought of you right off. I bought one yard, it is 100% cotton. I only saw it in blue, but if you are at all interested in any, let me know and I will go back for you!

What a bargain, and aren't you smart to staple that cute fabric around it and leave an opening for your chair. So creative. laurie
