A Little More Valentine's Day Stuff

Here's a little more Valentine's Day stuff I have around. I left my Christmas tree in my foyer and added red lights and heart ornaments to it. There are some red lights amongst the white ones, but it's hard to see them in the picture. I got the little mailboxes at Michaels. I informed my husband we were to write each other sweet notes and put them in the mailboxes. I was so happy the other day when I found my mailbox on my desk with the flag up and a note inside. We are going to do this through the end of February - at least that's my intention! I can't wait to do this with my son when he is older! On a not so happy note, we found out today one of my dogs, Zoe, has really bad hip dysplasia and will require surgery on both hips to the tune of about $2000. There goes the next home improvement project! Oh well, that's all part of having pets and children. They cost money and are well worth it!!! Have a great Thursday!

Love your tree! I knew something was missing on mine and it is the bow. So I will have to get over to my bow maker and get a big red one made up.

Love the rest of your decor also!

Cute Valentine tree! I LOVE your vintage picture and I got 3 little mailboxes from Target. We are going to do little treats and notes from Feb 1st - Valentines Day.

I hope the surgery goes well for your dog. I hate it when our little furbabies are in pain.♥

The mailbox ideas is so sweet! Cute tree too! Sorry about the surgery for the doggie! We have a Golden and they're prone to hip problems so I'm always worried when I see he has problems coming up the stairs but so far it hasn't been consistent. I'm sure his surgery will go fine - the hard part will probably be the recovery period.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing the right thing by your Zoe and getting that baby taken care of before the home improvement projects! You have your priorities straight girl! Hope Zoe gets to feeling better real soon.

Oh poor Zoe! Hip dysplasia...ouch!!

Your Valentine's decor looks great! I wish I could convince my hubby to leave me little notes. He still hasn't filled out my Valentine's Day card from LAST year.

wow how cute is that tree! I think you are defiantly putting me to shame when it comes to valentine's day decorating. I need to learn to embrace the holiday and try not to think of it as another class party I have to do. ha ha. But seriously, I love all your cute decorations! You always have such a great way of putting things together. I never thought of doing a valentine's day tree. It is a great way of keeping out the lights from Christmas!

Cute Valentine's day idea. I love the red mailbox. Sorry about your doggie...our dachsand gave us a $3,000 scare...but it all turned out all right..he healed up fine without spending any money. Thank goodness...

It just lifts my spirit to hear you say your little Zoe is worth the money! You are so right, they are worth it! We've probably spent $10,000 on our two little dachshunds minis over the past 7 years. They are just like children to us. A valentine tree -how clever..... and cute. The mailbox idea is just the cutest, too! Your decorating is top notch by me. Sharon
