I'm Back!

I can't believe my last post was on Oct. 7th! No reason, just get busy with life and don't feel like posting, ya know? I wanted to show y'all my new love - my white pedestal kitchen table. I love it! I have been wanting one for a long time and found it in a shop for $59 which I thought was pretty cheap. It is an old one that has been painted. I am planning on sanding it some to distress it more. I am using the same chairs I have had for several years. I made some new curtains out of a red paisley and a red and white checked fabric from Joanns with some polka dot ribbon as the seam between the 2 fabrics. You know me - gotta have my red! Another change I have made in here is the white hutch. I'll talk about it another day and show you more pics of it. Enjoy the rest of your day!

I love how you are always changing your breakfast/ dining area-- it is always different. That must be your favorite room!

I like the table-- I think a round table would be great in my kitchen, but my husband made my kitchen table so I can't part with it. (we have an eat in kitchen and no formal space for dining)

glad you're back-- I've been away since June!

The table is wonderful, Angie! It fits in your kitchen so well. I have missed seeing pictures of your kitchen and home. Love your new drapes - great idea using the ribbon between the two fabrics. Love how ready it looks for the holidays!

Sometimes you're not in the mood for blogging, I certanly understand as I go through it myself at times.

You did an awesome job on those curtains my friend. And I love the white table - I have one also but mine is black. Someday soon - it will also be painted another color. And I spy that hutch which is now white - the room looks "lifted" - ya know what I mean. Light and fresh! - Love it and glad you are back!

Oh my!! I LOVE those curtains! I have a table very similar to yours. Mine is black with a brown wooden top. I'm thinking about changing the color as part of my kitchen redo. I've got bigger fish to fry right now though. :) Love your changes!

So glad you're back. I know what you mean though. Lately I've just not had any time to post much or even read my favorite blogs. I love blogging but it takes time! Love your white table! I love white painted furniture but hubby loves natural wood...so I usually go with what he wants:) Hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving.
