I added this iron piece on the cabinets below the countertop a while back (hope I haven't shared this already) where you walk into my kitchen from the living room. It just looked like something needed to be there. Some people might not want to put holes in their cabinets and I totally understand that, but I put holes where I want and don't worry about it.
I bought this pretty fabric yesterday to make some couch pillows out of it, but now I'm thinking of a kitchen window valance for the Spring/Summer. I love the colors!
Enjoy the rest of your Thursday!

I like it, Angie! I think it adds some interest to an otherwise plain area.
I love the cabinet accent! What a good idea!
That fabric is gorgeous! I love the Jacobean style florals! Beautiful!

Looks wonderful ... adds great interest, too !! And, this is tooo ironic ... I was out shopping today looking for iron pieces to put on each end of our kitchen island ... I didn't have any luck, and checked out some stencils, too, but found nothing. I'll keep looking ... where did you find yours?! I love your beautiful fabric, too ... look forward to seeing what you do with it. Take care, Becca
The iron decor looks great. The pillow fabric is so pretty too.
What a great place to put something...I LOVE it! :)
Well, I haven't seen it. And I love where you put that iron piece. And the fabric is also lovely.

Where did you find the fabric?
I do have a fear of "holes"...or at least my hubby does! It prevents me from taking chances with things like what you have done - wonderful addition to your cabinet! I'm sure your eye is drawn to it as you enter your kitchen. Great fabric for cushions or valance!

I don't have a fear of holes, I always seem to mess up the walls though when trying to hang things. Oh well. I love the iron piece. So pretty! And that fabric...gorgeous!
Angie, I love the iron piece you hung up~ it looks wonderful! :) And even if you move it someday, holes are easily filled! :) You have a good eye for decorating! Oh, and I think the fabric is beautiful and it will be fun to see if it becomes a curtain or pillows! :)
I hope you have a good night, :)

I love the iron piece as well as the fabric. {I'm so bad with putting holes everywhere!}
I love the iron piece, my husband freaks about all the "holes" I create sometimes until I find just the right spot for something, I just tell him "I'm not afrad of a few little holes, I've got filler", at that point he just mumbles something and ask if he can help! I love the fabric where did you find it, the colors are beautiful.
That piece looks great there! I love that fabric and think it would make a great valance.

The fabric is so beautiful!
Angie, I just stumbled across your blog and I'm so glad I did. I LOVE French Country style, but don't find many blogs in that vein, so when I do, it's like finding buried treasure. I'll be adding you to my reads.
Cheers!
I love your iron piece, and it looks perfect there!! The fabric is just beautiful, and would look great anywhere!!
