Painting the Kitchen

This is what I started doing last night and will be working on today. I have been wanting to paint over the red in my kitchen for a while now and finally decided on the paint and to go ahead with it. I am going back to the exact gold/yellow color I had before I painted the red. I am so excited because now my red stuff will show up so much better! Anybody want to come and help?

Great color choice...it's one of my favorites! My kitchen/great room was the same color when we lived in NC...now we rent and all the walls are boring off-white :( Hey, I'd help ya if I lived closer!!

Happy Painting!

Hi Angie! Oh, I would have thought I had written this post! I have a red kitchen and am going to paint it a yellow color, which it was before it was painted red! It looks great! Did you have to prime over the red first?
That's the part I'm dreading.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

What a beautiful color! I am growing tired of my red kitchen too. Was it hard to cover? Did you need more than one coat? I would help if I could:>)

I love your new wall colors. Mine are very similar, and I used the color next to it for the accent. looks good, compared with the before. It is so cheery, as is your
blog.
Looking forward to seeing your kitchen, now.
