An Old Window

This window has been a bulletin board in my kitchen (the first 2 pictures) and this weekend I removed the cork and fabric and it now has a burlap back and star hanging on it (last 2 pictures). I am really liking the way it looks. Now I am trying to come up with something to hang above it. It seems I am never satisfied with my kitchen and am always changing something. It is so fun and I love doing it so what the heck! Hope you have a fun and safe Labor Day!

Hi Angie,
I really like each look you have used your old windows for! I have two {heavy} old windows that I am stumped on what to do with them. I could hardly wait to have them and now that I do, I am blank! They still have the old glass inside of them and I am worried about how heavy they are. Basically, when I hang them, they are up for good. I would love any ideas you may want to share. :o)
Happy Labor Day!
Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne

I think that looks sooo pretty! I love the black and white combo. that's a very versatile little window! It is fun to change things around, especially when it's stuff you already have!

Once again...just gorgeous! I have a window that I have been trying to come up with an idea of what to do with it. I like your idea of adding something to the front of it! Thank you for the inspiration!

Oh, I love how it looks now! Very pretty. I don't think it needs anything over it but I'm sure whatever you do will look good!

Hi Angie, and Happy Labor day. Hey I like the change too. I have a lot of white in my house but enjoy black too. Your window looks great this way. I also have been using burlap more...it is great. Hope you are having a wonderful day!

I love the bunny lamp you have in this picture and the rooster one in the other one. I have yet to find ones that I like online or in stores...I like yours...do you mind sharing where you got them from?

I have an old window frame and I love what you did with yours. Can you give a tutorial on how to apply the fabric? Thanks! Love your blog.

Wait. What? You turned an old window into a BULLETIN BOARD??

ohmygaaaah, I love it!

Now I need to go scrounge around and find an old window frame and totally steal this idea. I've been toying around with putting a bulletin board in the laundry room, specifically on the back door, after my recent (and cheap) transformation. Squeal!

YOU are awesome!! I'll post pics when I do this and link to you to give you all the bloggy credit and love!

I just stumbled upon your blog today and love your decor! I'm trying to find a chandelier like the one in your kitchen eating area. Did you buy yours? If so, can you tell me where you got it? Thanks so much!
