Using calendar prints as artwork

Do you like to look at calendars in stores? I do! I love to look at the beautiful pictures and prints. I also love to frame them and hang them on my walls all around my house. It's a cheap and easy way to get some artwork and you can change it out when you want. I have lots of calendars I've bought and been given and I get them out from time to time when I'm looking for something new to hang. Some of the pictures I mat and some I don't. I usually use a 10x13 or 11x14 frame. You will have to do some trimming because the picture will not fit exactly.

The problem in my house is I need more walls because I about have them all filled up! Does anyone out there know what I mean?! I am definitely not a follower of the "less is more" philosophy. I can't help it - I like STUFF! Well, off to do some chores and move my stuff around. My dad calls it rotating your junk. It's what I love to do!

I love this idea...Only, I can't find pretty calendars! If you don't mind, could you tell me where you find your cute outdated calendars?

Thanks for sharing!

I love how you used calendars to create beautiful artwork! Do you mind sharing how you did the matte? It looks like you used fabric or was it something else? Thanks!
