Adding a Flower to a Lampshade

I recovered this shade a while back in burlap and used black ribbon as the trim, but felt like it was too plain (I don't do plain folks, as you probably know) and needed something else. So, I opened up my craft/junk closet yesterday and saw this red flower and got an idea. I took the stem off and hot glued it on and a cute new shade is born. Not plain anymore!

This is SO cute! I love burlap too, but feel like it's too plain for my taste! You dressed it right up! :)

How cute is that! I love it, Angie! It suits that corner well with the other accents of red you have going on.

Hi Angie,
Very cute indeed! and I love red so the red flower looks perfect to me!
Also your kitchen is lovely and how sweet of your hubby to make the shutters for your birthday gift. I think home made is the best gift anyone can receive (made with love)
Happy belated birthday.
Have a sweet day, Hugs~Elizabeth
