Thrifty Finds

I am joining the party over at Southern Hospitality to share my thrifty finds I scored on Saturday. It was a great yard sale day and I am very happy with the things I bought. I spent a total of $24.75 on the things below. The most expensive was the fabric I got for $10 (last picture). Love the big checks! It is nice and heavy and there is lots of it. You'll be seeing it in the future, probably on some pillows, curtains, and who knows what else. I was thrilled to get the floral tole tray (first picture) for $1. I have been wanting one so bad. Here is a breakdown of the other prices:
*poppies picture - $1
*6 placemats - $1
*2 fruit plates - $3
*placemat and 4 napkins - $2.50
*3 planters - $4
*little deer - 25 cents
*Spode plate - $2
I am so glad it is yard sale season again! Aren't you?!

You must go the THE BEST yard sales ever my friend! Love all your finds - especially the fabric. I have that same fabric in black in my bedroom and I love it. Even though I'm thinking a change might be in the near future. Wish we could go "junkin'" together. Till then, keep sharing with us.

Hi!
I am ecstatic it is yard sale season again- I have had Yard Sale Fever all winter!!
My home is French Country, too!!
I have the same fabric (the red/cream buffalo check) in my living and dining room as curtains!
It is wonderfully gorgeous fabric, is it not?
I did not pay $10 for it though- I think I bought 6 yards of it off eBay a few years back for $80.
So you got a steal!
You can see the curtains in my March Slipcovered Wingback Chairs post, if you like.
I am getting many pretty ideas from your home!
SO nice to meet you!!
Blessings from my home to yours!
P.S. The tole tray is divine!!
