My New Front Door, a Look from Inside

I can't tell you how much I LOVE my new front door!!! The first picture is the only before one I could find. Double doors are fine and do look nice and dramatic, but I have always despised having to make 2 of anything I want to hang on the front. I also wanted to bring in more light and really open the foyer up. Well, we certainly accomplished that and more. I am thrilled with the pattern on the sidelites. Originally we were going to have a door with a window on it like the sidelites, but we decided to go with a solid door and I am so glad we did. I walk by and through my foyer all throughout the day and just smile 'cause it is brighter and even looks bigger. I'll show you the outside view when we get finished painting everything. Happy Monday to y'all!

Very pretty. I'm with you . . . so done with my double front door. It even has sidelights. But like you said, making two of everything is a hassle, and it's drafty i the winter. Maybe some day we'll be able to replace ours.

Can't wait to see the view from outside!

Your door looks great! Placing sidelights was definitely a good idea to bring in more light. If you want some more, you could add windows to the door itself. You could also make a rose window, or glaze them to let more light in without sacrificing security and privacy.

Your door really looks nice and it looks brighter too. I think it must be a work of any professional company to build a perfect & beautiful door like this.
