Easy Little Plaque Redo

I got this little plaque at a yard sale for 25 cents. I see similar ones all the time and usually get them if they're really cheap 'cause they are so easy to redo. I spray painted it black and glued on some scrapbook paper, ribbon, and a rooster which was part of a pack I got at Michaels. I already had all that stuff so I didn't have to go out and buy anything which is always a good thing. I hung it on a kitchen cabinet to the right of my sink over a plate that was already there. I just can't get away from the rooster stuff. I still love it and I want to stick with the things that make me happy. Enjoy the rest of your day!

What a great idea, Angie! And, I love it! It looks so good where you put it and the colors you chose go really well in your kitchen. Something else to look for when I go to Goodwill this weekend. {I'll actually be dropping some things off, too!}.

Very cute! What do you use to hang things from the cabinets? I have some on either side of my sink, but I've always been afraid of damaging the finish. Mine aren't painted - they're stained. (Although I wish they were painted!)

That is just adorable, Angie! I love roosters too. Don't have many yet. I say go with whatever makes you happy. Because you'll enjoy looking at it every time you pass by it.

SO very awesome! I'm going to keep my eyes out for those plaques/tiles... it'll be the perfect way to "sneak" in some toile without making The Hubs all nutty. :)
