Headboard Amongst the Vines

I spent a good chunk of time yesterday cutting the vines around my patio trying to get to this old iron headboard. The greenery had grown around it and covered it up. I haven't seen it in several years and had about forgotten it was there! This greenery grows like crazy during the summer and my husband has to trim it often to keep it tamed. I love it though because it stays green all year long. I thinned it out some, but he still has a lot to cut. I want to get some flowers to pot and do some decorating outside. I have seen some beautiful outdoor areas on people's blogs which serve as great inspiration! Happy Wednesday to you!

Love your creativity outside as much as inside your home. I'm a fan of one-of-a-kind garden decor!
Just went back into some of your past posts and saw your bunny tray posted on Sun. May 31st.
LOVE IT! I got that same one at a little consignment store for 6.99 (you beat me GOOD!) and found a second bunny tray to make a pair a year later in the same store for the same price!! Unbelievable!
Love those tole trays and especially the ones with animals! Thanks for sharing your "steal" deals! :-)

Wonderful use of the old headboard. I can feel for you and your hubby cleaning out the vines and shrubbery. Me and my DH did that a couple of weeks ago. Yucky job, but it looks ssssooooo much better ;o)

That is so pretty. I think I will try that out at some point in our back yard. First I have to get something to grow there.

Hi Angie
You have inspired me!!...I love your home! I am new to this blogging and dont blog myself, (at least not yet), I certainly have enjoyed all the bloggers I have stumbled on too. I do have a question...I have gone back to the beginning of your posts (boy that was fun!) and can't wait to continue to follow you. =)
anyway, my question is about the valances your friends Mom made for her. I have been searching and searching for just the right idea and that is it! I love them. Do you know or could you find out if she used a pattern? Something that I could buy? or did she just create them on her own. I don't know if bloggers actually answer questions? I'll understand if you don't. Heres my email just incase you can. hangonslupey@frontiernet.net
thanks again for all the inspiration!
