A Couple of Easy Redoes

I bought this silver tray and lemon topiary with a broken pot on Sat. from yard sales. I paid 50 cents for the tray and $1 for the topiary. I spray painted the tray (even though I do like the silver) and then put a piece of scrapbook paper in the center. I just taped it instead of gluing it so I can change it when I want. For the topiary, I broke off the rest of the terra cotta pot and put it in a little 10 cents urn I had and added some moss. Love quick and easy projects like these!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving that sweet comment!! Gasp, I almost fainted when I read that you had spray painted the tray, I love the silver, BUT I really like how it turned out, very sweet and creative!! Can you just spray directly at the silver or do you have to prep it first to make the paint stick? Love how the little lemon tree turned out!!
Have a lovely day, Jannet

I like what you've done with both items. Was the topiary broke when you bought it? If so, I bet that person that you were off your rocker! Well, we might all be off our rocker in some way or another.LOL.

Hope you have a nice day and can't wait to see what you're up to next!

Just getting caught up on all your blog entries. Love everything as usual!! I just seen a blog this morning where this lady had a silver tray like yours and painted the center with chalkboard paint and then of course wrote on it. I thought that was cute too!

Hi Angie. Your topiary looks very cute all dressed up in a new pot! Also, your tray looks wonderful. You have a great eye for color coordination. I have all the basic items needed for making my own topiary, so in the next couple of days I will be looking back through your blog for inspiration. :o) I know how much you love topiaries! :o)
