An Easy Watering Can Redo

I bought this watering can recently at Tuesday Morning. I didn't particularly like the pink roses painted on it and knew I could change it. At first I was going to paint over it and stencil something, but I decided to just tape on a piece of scrapbook paper and it turned out really good. I taped it instead of gluing it so I could change it when I want. I am happy with the way it looks with the yellow tulips and grass in it. I had fun this weekend putting out bunnies and other Spring/Easter stuff. I'll be working on it the next few weeks. Have a great Monday!

How perfect. That's the kind of project I never think of doing myself and then wish I would when I see someone else do it.

I need to be more creative when I shop...I probably would have passed the watering can by not thinking about how cute it could be!

Hi Angie,

I discovered your blog last night and really like all the red, black and white accents you posted about. I was so inspired, that I've decided to paint a wood box with a similar design.

Your watering can is very cute too. Good idea about using tape so you can change it out when you want to.

Hi Angie,

I posted a comment earlier but have just now gone through some much older posts, just visiting. I wanted to email you but cannot find your address so am leaving another comment. I want to commend you on what you did last fall with the sign regarding the circus. This is a subject I feel very strongly about as well and have also tried to help raise the awareness. I also agree with what you said about when the animals make a run for it.

I commend you for what you did and posting about it.
