I bought this beautiful wrapping paper last week at Hobby Lobby. It is Christmas paper, but obviously you can use it all year long because it doesn't have anything Christmasy on it. I bought it not only to wrap gifts, but I can envision using it for all kinds of projects - covering the back of a bookcase, decoupaging it onto plates, decorating trays, covering books, and lots of other stuff. The rolls are big - 100 sf. They were $6.99 and 50% off, so $3.50 per roll. There were other cute ones with polka dots and other prints. The last picture (black and white) is one I got last year. I'm not sure if they are on sale this week or not. I may have to go back and get more. I'm sure you'll be seeing this paper on some future projects!

I love that wrapping paper! I am heading out in the direction of a hobby lobby store this weekend. I'll have to check out their paper selection. I can't wait to see what you end up doing with it. I love the idea of using it behind a book case! So fun! Have a great day Angie!
You just gave me another reason I am mad we don't have a Hobby Lobby!!I adore that paper!!
That paper is awesome! Guess I need to run to Hobby Lobby and see what I can find! What a great idea!

Angie,
Try scrolling past that red houndstooth paper quickly on your blog, with your mouse scroll wheel, and see what it does to your eyes!
Your paper is very pretty! I do have to stay away from Hobby Lobby, though, because I always get in trouble there!
Blessings,
Michelle
I love the red & white houndstooth. My daughter bought that same paper. Only YOU could think of other things to do with it besides wrapping gifts!
I saw those at the store. Don't you love how they had all of that set up? You picked great paper to use year round.
I got red and white polka dotted plates and napkins. Fun!
Wonderful purchase! I love ALL of these!!!
YUmmmmmmmmmmy papers...love the houndstooth...I will have to ask Santa for a hobby lobby..we don't have them up here. cherry
Super cute!
I love the red and white paisley print! Too cute!! Cany wait to see what great ideas you come up with!
Ooohhh I love that paper, especially the green one! I was just at Hobby Lobby last Friday but I skipped the wrapping paper because the aisle was so busy. Now I'm thinking I should have just pushed my way through ;o)
Wow...thanks for the heads up on this one. I so appreciate others keeping us in the loop about great things like this. : )
Hobby Lobby....here I come!
I got some of that great paper last week too...love those big rolls, so many possiblities!
How have I walked right by that and never seen it??? I need to check that out. Very cute paper!
That is such beautiful wrapping paper! I had never even heard of Hobby Lobby until I started blogging! I don't think we have one near us! I am really wishing we did! :) I hope you have a good night! :)
Angie, thought I would jump over here to answer your question. I have used the cricut a lot. I got it because I wanted to do vynil projects. If I scrapbooked more, I might even use it more. But, you are exactly right about the cartridge thing. It comes with two and they are so expensive to buy! I would like to have a few more fonts, but still can't justify going out and buying some. My husband would probably like it if I used it more (because I made such a big deal about getting one) But for the projects I have done I have liked it. So I still have mixed reviews on whethter or not it was worth the money. My sister found one on craigslist. If you have one in your area, and are patient enough for one to pop up on there-that would definitely be the way to go!
Good luck if you decide to get one. I am sure you could come up with a ton more projects to do with it than I have.
OMGOSH, that is lovely! I miss Hobby Lobby so much.
I didn't realize the were that big! I was just there today (and yesterday, shhh!) and should have gotten some. I love ALL of their paper! I can't wait to see what you do with these!
These are gorgeous!! First thing I thought when I saw them is using them on the back of a bookshelf or something like that! Beautiful!!!
I'm new to this and I just recently found your site....I love it!!!
Thanks for sharing!
Oh i want a Hobby Lobby here. Not fair. Love the wraps though. I have been picking up a few different ones too. But i have this vision of me wrapping these presents so beautifully and they do not quite turn out that way. I guess i cannot be a professional gift wrapper..lol mishelle
Ooooooh! Can't wait to see how you use these. I don't have a Hobby Lobby where I live. Darn!!!
I think Hobby Lobby has the best Christmas wrapping paper! I bought that black houndstooth one last year. A tip - the non traditional wraps don't usually sell out and you can get them 50-75% off after Christmas.

GM Love, You are always outside the box, thinking about how to make another craft and I love seeing what you do. I'm even going to copy some of your projects.
Also, I just tagged you, cause I love you. LOL
Love Ya,
Chris
I bought 2 rolls there this week too. Red with white polka dots and red paisley. I thought they'd look great all year. The price was great. Mimi
That is exactly what I thought when I saw it. The possibilities are endless.
Great wrapping paper. We don't have a hobby lobby. :( but if we did, I'd be there!
Lidy
WOW! The paper is beasutiful!!!
That black houndtooth is my favorite. I will definitely have to check it out. Jackie
I love that wrapping paper! I saw it the other day but it wasn't on sale when I was there and I am too cheap to buy it full price!
I love it! I wish we had a Hobby Lobby around here. sigh.
I bought the same paper! I really wish they would have had a green houndstooth! Bummer! The Christmas decor is beautiful!
I just HAD to comment, cause I LOVE this paper too! I got it half off last year (the same black and white one you did) and use it for everything. So cute with a pink bow! And it's thick and even has the grid on the back! Alright, I'm a little overly excited, but I really love this paper! Just went to HL this week and bought a bunch more for this year - the black and white polka dots are adorable!
