Aging my Beadboard Backsplash

I got a wild hair today around lunchtime and decided to age my kitchen beadboard backsplash with this glaze. I started on the project and then my sweet hubby got involved and took over 'cause what he did looked much better than what I did. He had told me to do this a long time ago, but I didn't know what it would look like to have white cabinets and the stained backsplash. Well, I am loving it! It blends more with the countertops and the white was just too stark for me. I'll show you pics when we (well, really HE) gets done. Have a great night and a wonderful Wed.!

    Oh! It is going to look wonderful! That is the exact same glaze I use when staining over paint...like my green bookshelf I just did. I love it!

    I am going to have to buy some of that Mocha glaze! I made my own from paint and glaze medium but it just doesn't turn out like this. Can't wait to see the whole thing!

    I do have a question for you on the glaze... was it mixed w/ a tint or straight out of the bottle? We are doing the same in our kitchen w/ our cabinets and backsplash! I love the look!

    Okay I have a question... I want to put up beadboard in my kitchen and I want it painted aqua and have an antiqued look... How did you achieve it? I have been looking EVERYWHERE... From reading this I assume I paint, put on glaze and then stain over the glaze? HELP!! :))))
