From Red to Green

Well, I painted my kitchen hutch red and didn't like it at all. I'm sure I could have gone to the store and gotten a better red and it may have turned out o.k., but I decided to go a different route and paint it with some apple green paint I had. I painted and then aged it with some glaze and am really happy with it now. The color looks much better in person than in these pictures. Now comes the fun part - decorating it!

Love the green... I have a green hutch in my kitchen. I bought it that color and wonder if I will ever have the nerve to paint it. But for now, I love the green!

Very pretty Angie. I love green, red and yellow. Any cheerful color would look gorgeous in your kitchen. The green pops. :)

Hi Angie! OH, your little hutch looks wonderful! I love the green. I've thought about painting mine too and thought of green but somehow I can't pick up a paint brush.
Be a sweetie,

Nice job! I was surprised to learn that you can spray paint furniture. Can you tell us when to use spray paint vs. a brush and can? I would like to hear more about the stain, also. We don't all have your skills, so tell us more!! LOL.
