Love this Yard Sale Find!

I bought this pedestal piece several months ago at a yard sale. It was brown wood and I painted it black. As you can see, I have it on my kitchen table holding a ceramic artichoke. I love this piece and am planning on trying to make a few like it for other rooms in my house. It has so many possibilities! It would be great with a cloche over it too. I have finished painting my kitchen and am trying to get stuff back on the walls and on my shelves. Of course, you know I can't have it back exactly the way it was. I have got to change some things. Have a great Monday!

How nice.

My blog has been growing so rapidly that I haven't had time to get over for visits, but I was missing all my blog friends and wanted to take some time to come over and see what everyone was creating and say Hi and invite you over for a visit as well.

Where did you find that fantastic artichoke? I've been looking for something similar and only finding fakey-looking ones. Very cute.
