Dining Room Table Arrangement

Here's the Spring arrangement I have on my dining room table. I still stick to my colors when decorating any time of year. Pastels just don't go with my decor. I have had this ivy plate rack since I first got married - almost 12 years ago. I have had it up in my attic for years and decided to get it down and use it. I'm glad I didn't get rid of it because I am loving it again! I haven't really put out Easter stuff this year, just bunnies, birds, nests, eggs - things that say Spring. I like it because I can leave these things out through the summer if I want. Most of my bunnies actually stay out all year because I just love them and they make me happy! Isn't that why we decorate our homes, to make ourselves and our family feel good? Have a great day!!!

As usual, the arrangement looks great! My colors don't go with pastels either. I prefer fall colors. I made a pillow with butterflies on it, but it is in fall colors. I also added a sunflower arrangement on the mantel. That's about as springy as it gets here.

Hey you gave me a great idea. I have a ceramic bunny that I could put a coordinating bow on his neck.

I love your ivy plate holder, too! I usually think early 90s when I see ivy but your arrangement looks fresh and new. I love your colors!!!

Very pretty table arrangement. I love the plate rack too. I had one, very similar, but got rid of mine. Seeing yours makes me wish I hadn't.

It looks so great! The bunny with the ribbon tied around it's neck is too cute and I know what you mean about the pastels...they just don't go with my decor either! Hope you have a great Easter! Nancy

Very cute! I have been meaning to ask you because to me you are the queen of decorating....do you stay with a set number color choices when you decorate? Also, do you stick with lets say 3 or 4 pieces for each vignette? I am trying to learn this decorating thing and my stuff seems to get over cluttered with little things or the colors don't flow. Didn't know if you had some magic numbers for me to try to stay under when creating a space?

Very cute! I usually don't go with pastels either since I have so much red! Although you might check out my easter tablescape, it sure clashes with my curtains! lol....Kristen

Very very cute! I have a hard time with pastels too! You and I have the same color scheme. I almost painted some plastic eggs red but thought that would be a crazy use of my time!

I just started collected a few bunnies, to festive up my house for Easter, but I know a couple of them will be staying out for the summer, as well. They're just too cute not too! Cute tablescape!
